A Jewish Priorities Anthology

Introducing Young Zionist Voices

Welcome to Young Zionist Voices, a Jewish Priorities anthology to be published in late 2024 through Wicked Son Books. It will include a broad range of young writers who represent the next generation of Zionist thinkers, literary figures, activists, and community leaders. The volume will be edited by David Hazony, editor of Jewish Priorities: Sixty-Five Proposals for the Future of Our People (Wicked Son, 2023).

What kind of writings may be submitted? Submissions must be nonfiction and can take any relevant form, whether literary, research-based, personal memoir, journalistic, or a combination of these. They must be between 1,200 and 2,000 words in length. They should answer one or both of the following questions:

  1. Why am I a Zionist?

  2. What is the most important challenge for the future of the Jewish People?

Who may submit an essay? Young Zionist Voices is open to any self-identifying Jewish person 25 years old and under at time of submission. By submitting, you are accepting the terms of the Young Zionist Voices author agreement.

What's the deadline? All submissions must be received no later than April 1, 2024.
